Khao Phueng Cave

Khao Phueng Cave is a cave in Khao Phanom Bencha National Park. The most famous attractions here are the Huai To waterfall and the Khao Phueng Cave. The Huai To waterfall here is really beautiful. The towering trees give people a kind of feeling of walking into the depths of a tropical rainforest and a sense of exploration. In the park, some beautiful butterflies fly from time to time. Although Khao Phueng Cave is not big, the landform inside is like a stalactite which is formed by the petrification of corals in the sea.

Sadet Cave

The characteristic of this cave is that it is in a hill, and it is surrounded by the rural scenery of Krabi. This cave is located in Tambon Sai Thai. There are many stalagmites and stalactites of various shapes in the cave. In 1909, King Rama VI, who did not succeed to the throne at the time, visited here. Since then, it has been called “Tam Sadet” by the locals, which means Royal Journey in Thai.

Khao Kaeo Cave

Suea Khao Kaeo Cave is near the Tiger Temple. You can visit the Tiger Temple together. In the cave you can also see tiger claw marks that are printed on the stone. In addition, there are many historical monuments, and ancient cultural relics such as stone tools, pottery fragments and Buddha’s footprints were unearthed here. In this mountain range, apart from Khao Kaeo Cave, there are 5 other caves, namely: Khonthan Cave, Lot Cave, Chang Kaeo, Luk Thanu Cave, and Phra Cave.

Khao Khanap Nam Cave

Khao Khanap Nam Cave is also known as the Twin Peaks Cave. It is on the Krabi River and you have to go by boat. The scenery on the river is good. There are large mangrove forests in the river, where many monkeys and wild animals live. There are fishing grounds on the river, specializing in quirky fish to attract tourists. This is the closest cave to Krabi Town and Ao Nang Beach. You can charter a boat from Ao Nang Beach for about 1,000 baht.
